God has desired it

For Yahweh has chosen Zion. He has desired it for his habitation. “This is my resting place forever. Here I will live, for I have desired it.”
—Psalms 132:13, 14

But you have come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable hosts of angels, to the general assembly and assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better than that of Abel.
—Hebrews 12:22-24

Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour comes, when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, will you worship the Father. You worship that which you don’t know. We worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews. But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be His worshippers. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”
—John 4:21-24

The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah comes,” (he who is called Christ/Anointed). “When he has come, he will declare to us all things.” Jesus said to her, “I am He, the one who speaks to you.” —John 4:25,26

Father God is seeking and desiring hearts that are voluntarily passionate for Him, to be with Him where He is, through His Son Yeshua.

A protection for life

“He will continue His care over us from this time forth and even for evermore. It is a protection for life, never out of date.”
—Matthew Henry on Psalm 121

“Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, From this time forth, and forevermore.”
—Psalms 121:8

Peace, Peace, Wonderful Peace

Wonderful Peace
Words: Warren D. Cornell, 1889

Far away in the depths of my spirit tonight
Rolls a melody sweeter than psalm;
In celestial strains it unceasingly falls
O’er my soul like an infinite calm.

Refrain:

Peace, peace, wonderful peace,
Coming down from the Father above!
Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray
In fathomless billows of love!

What a treasure I have in this wonderful peace,
Buried deep in the heart of my soul,
So secure that no power can mine it away,
While the years of eternity roll!
(refrain)

I am resting tonight in this wonderful peace,
Resting sweetly in Jesus’ control;
For I’m kept from all danger by night and by day,
And His glory is flooding my soul!
(refrain)

And I think when I rise to that city of peace,
Where the Anchor of peace I shall see,
That one strain of the song which the ransomed will sing
In that heavenly kingdom will be:
(refrain)

Ah, soul! are you here without comfort and rest,
Marching down the rough pathway of time?
Make Jesus your Friend ere the shadows grow dark;
O accept of this peace so sublime!
(refrain)
